Though both men and women agree that black is a good colour for elegant motors, when it comes to raw, stealth fighter-like styling, we think it's a man's prerogative (is there such a thing?!) to go all gooey; the Nissan 350Z GT-S has that effect.

There is something very male about the function-above-form styling changes to the distinctive 350Z shape too, as concurred by any woman I asked about it. The general consensus amongst the fairer sex was "that's ugly", where as men found it hard to speak when looking at the enlarged spoilers and black-as-night body kit. Even the 'nostril' in the bonnet has a purpose - to help feed air to the now supercharged 3.5-litre V6 lurking underneath.

It was love at first sight with the regular 350Z, but discovering the 380bhp GT-S version gives the term soul mate a whole new meaning.
