Scion Dalek xD

Being a youth-orientated brand, Scion's show cars are pretty wild, none more so than the Dalek xD. This open-topped car is based on a relatively humble five-door hatchback, Scion's designers going bonkers with the angle-grinder. It's not just the roof they've removed as the windscreen has been dropped by seven inches too. To be sure that the Dalek doesn't wobble itself to bits on the road there's extensive strengthening, but it's unlikely it'll ever be anything more than a one-off show car.

Wood must be cool in the youth market these days, as the Dalek xD has been extensively decked out with the stuff. There's a beech wood rear boot cover, wood door trim panels, a beech wood centre console (front and rear), a wooden steering wheel and custom wood grain airbrushed dash trim panelling. Matt black paint outside and the prerequisite huge alloys, pumping stereo and tuning bits and pieces also feature to help the Dalek xD exterminate all its competition.
