Taking the idea of a crossover vehicle to the maximum Suzuki rolled up at the SEMA show with this highly unusual car-meets-bike concept. Designed and built by Road Race Motorsports of California, the Suzuki SXForce takes one relatively ordinary SX4 saloon and tricks it up with a bike-inspired makeover. Perhaps the most obvious nod to the SX4's two-wheeled relatives is the quite ridiculous handlebars in place of a steering wheel. In front of its unusual Hayabusa handlebars sits a minimalist instrument binnacle, while the rear seats have been binned to make way for a Rockford-Fosgate sound system.

Surprisingly, under the bonnet there's not a bonkers tuned Hayabusa superbike engine, instead the SXForce using a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit with 250bhp. Even though the SX4 is offered in four-wheel drive, all that power is transmitted to the front wheels only. Other nods to Suzuki's bikes are the sports bike-style GSX-R1000 exhausts, seats trimmed in leather that looks like a sports biker's leathers, high-mounted mirrors and Pearl White and Orange Metallic paint.
