Aston Martin DBS
At the time of writing, we've not seen the new movie, but press releases and trailers clearly show that Bond's main car is an Aston Martin. The company has gone the whole hog for
Casino Royale; not being content to publicise an existing model, Aston Martin has come up with a bespoke car for the movie, called the DBS.
Clearly, the DBS is closely related to the Aston Martin DB9, though its styling has been exaggerated for its screen debut. The rumour is that the company will actually make a limited production run too.
You'll have to watch the movie to find out what gadgets are in store for the new Bond, Daniel Craig, but a peak at the interior photographs reveal a lot more dials and buttons than on your average showroom Aston.
If you're squeamish, you may not want to see the movie. In the trailer, Bond has to avoid a stricken 'damsel in distress' while at high speed and appears to totally write off the Aston Martin. That's just not cricket, is it?
