Back home, many people refer to 4x4s as 'jeeps', in the same way that pens are often called 'biros' and vacuum cleaners are 'hoovers'. It's only right that Jeep displayed a new concept that defines the essence of the brand.

That concept is called the Trailhawk and is intended to be a mix between the rugged, capable Wrangler and the more refined, road-biased Jeeps, such as the Grand Cherokee. Indeed, the show car is built on the relatively new body-on-frame chassis found in the four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, so its proportions are familiar.

It is likely that the nose of the Trailhawk is a preview to the replacement for the Grand Cherokee, with its furrowed brow appearance, but the rest of the car is just for show, especially the massive 22-inch wheels, and the roof cut-outs that give the car an open-air feel.
