Off-road driving

Driving off-road requires a completely different skill set to on-road or even on-track driving. Learning how to control an off-road vehicle is fantastic fun: it's absolutely incredible where you can go in four-wheel drive vehicles. There are off-road driving schools up and down the country, allowing you to drive an off-roader as it's meant to be. Don't worry if your dad's car isn't a 4x4, or is too precious to be axle deep in mud, as most off-road driving experiences also have a fleet of vehicles for you to use should you want to.

You'll not believe how much fun you can have in a 4x4 at speeds that make walking look fast. Clambering up ridiculous inclines, dropping down into bomb holes while hanging off your seatbelt and wading through deep water is all part of the fun driving off road. Just hope your dad doesn't like it too much and trade in the family car for a ratty old off-roader...
