Saab 9-3 Convertible
Saab has a long history of producing stylish convertibles, with the 900 a particularly successful model. That car was replaced by the 9-3, which is today based on the Vauxhall Vectra's platform, though clever marketing ensures that the Saab is seen as a rival for Audi and BMW.
The 9-3 Convertible range breaks down into Linear, Vector and Aero, with turbocharged petrol and diesel models available. The range-topper is an Aero model propelled by a powerful 2.8-litre V6, though it is front-wheel drive only, so doesn't really compare to the rear-wheel drive models in this group when it comes to driving enjoyment.
Despite a dating design, the 9-3 Convertible still turns heads and its interior is also distinctive.
