Ford Mustang

Okay, so it's not like you can walk into any UK Ford dealer and pick up a Mustang, but there are plenty of specialists that will sell and service Ford's muscle car in the UK. The Mustang never really went away, it having a few dodgy years where its styling went wonky and its performance was lacking. But Ford corrected its errors when it introduced the current Mustang. Plundering the design studio for the original's styling drawings Ford's designers brought the classic Mustang back to life with this car. And it's started a retro muscle car avalanche among its rivals.

It's still pretty simple underneath, the suspension hardly sophisticated compared to the latest sports cars and coupés. However, it comes with either V6 or thumping V8 power that'll get you between the traffic lights quickly enough. And, that simplicity means it's cheap. So inexpensive, that over in the USA you can have a Mustang for Ford Focus money. And that's just not fair...
