Suzuki X-Head

Perhaps more than most Suzuki is ready for the challenge of a cleaner, greener future with its range of small cars. The theme for the Suzuki stand this year is 'Small Cars for a Big Future' and if they look like this brilliant compact pick-up X-HEAD concept then we're all for it. Like every other home manufacturer Suzuki is showing off curious mini cars and 'personal mobility' solutions with its SSC and PIXY concepts, but clever, and slightly bonkers, as they might be it's the X-HEAD that's the most appealing vehicle on the Suzuki stand.

Crossing a pick-up with SUV and compact dimensions the X-HEAD is like a Tonka-toy concept. Tough-looking squared-off design dominates, Suzuki describing it as a 'cross-utility vehicle that offers unprecedented possibilities'. We're not quite sure what that means, but Suzuki also mentions Camper, Fashion and Rescue units, the Camper module allowing two adults to sleep in comfort. Just look at it though, we love it here.
