With a marina spanning over a quarter of a mile at ExCeL it seems daft not to have a boat show to complement the four-wheeled action inside. And the Marine Experience promises to be just as entertaining as the cars, with everything from tiny topper sail boats to the sort of luxury yachts that make even the supercars in ExCeL look like they're good value. There will be high speed demonstrations during the day too, with live racing, while the sensational wave-piercing record-attempting Earthrace trimaran will also be making an appearance.
You'll be able to test some of the boats too, for free; perhaps for not as long as the 24,000-mile voyage Earthrace is preparing for, but enough to have some fun on the water. So even if you're more interested in bilge-pumps and life on the ocean wave than tyres and tarmac there's something for you at the British Motor Show.
