The Kia stand in Frankfurt will feature five premieres, including the launch of an all-new compact MPV, the Venga, the world debut of a 'green' brand called EcoDynamics and two hybrid concept cars based on the cee'd and Sorento.
EcoDynamics will be the new sub-brand applied to the company's most efficient cars. In Frankfurt, the first models to wear the badge will feature stop-start, a power saving alternator management system and low rolling resistance tyres.
Kia has committed to introducing other fuel saving measures, including better aerodynamics, alternative fuels, high-efficiency transmissions and hybrid, electric and fuel-cell propulsion.
Within the EcoDynamics 'zone' of Kia's stand the company will display hybrid concept versions of the cee'd hatchback and Sorento SUV.
Other debuts include a facelifted cee'd hatch and estate, the European version of the seven-seat Sorento and the first outing in Europe for the Kia Forte LPI Hybrid saloon.
