Mercedes-Benz isn't a manufacturer that is scared of pushing conventional model boundaries, the latest model to do so being this coupé-styled estate concept. Dubbed 'Concept Fascination', the cool two-door is officially little more than a styling exercise, though we think it looks way too cool not to go into production. What is certain is that its frontal styling debuts that of the forthcoming new E-Class and CLK model ranges.
Inside, Concept Fascination features more bizarre concept touches, the central console apparently inspired by materials used in equestrianism. You'll not get saddle sores in the four individual seats though, and the turbodiesel engine powering it has significantly more than 1 horsepower. It's got 204bhp, from a 2.2-litre turbodiesel and features BlueTEC and AdBlue emissions and economy improving technology. This is one concept we'd really like to see on the road, so start lobbying Mercedes dealers now.
