Britain's 'green' Prince has had his classic Aston Martin converted to run on bio-fuel.
The 1963 DB5, bought for the Prince as a 21st birthday present by the Queen, now drives on 100% bio-fuel.
The fuel itself is fit for a prince, being created from surplus wine from English vineyards.
The conversion was listed in the Prince's annual review as one of the methods as to how Prince Charles is reducing his carbon footprint.
With an annual mileage thought to be around just 300 it's unlikely that the conversion is going to see ice reforming at the poles, or a slow down in global warming.
Fuelling the Aston will be cheaper though, the bio-fuel costing just £1.10 a litre.
The 38-year old car emits up to 85% less CO2 as a result, but it's still not particularly parsimonious with a consumption figure of 10mpg - or around 4.5 bottles of wine per mile.
