Driving in snow is a tricky balance of maintaining momentum while not gaining too much speed. Drive as slowly as possible as braking distances are completely unpredictable when driving on snow. Slow down using the engine braking where you can and when pulling away do so in as high a gear as possible - first gear is likely to leave your wheels spinning and you getting nowhere. Avoid driving down hills whenever feasible and if in doubt get out and check the conditions on foot before attempting anything. A few minutes preparing a path with a shovel down a tricky stretch of road could save you losing control and damaging your car.
Driving up hills is just as daunting. Take a gentle run up and allow momentum to help you along. Wait for others to clear out of your way before attempting any ascents too - there's no point getting half way up and having to stop for an obstruction and then becoming one yourself. Leave lots of space between you and other road users: think quadruple or more space than you'd usually consider safe.
