It's all fine and well looking cool, but being kind to the environment these days is a serious consideration. Saab is showing a possible answer with its 9-X BioHybrid, a smooth coupé that mixes bio-fuel power with hybrid technology to ensure that cool is clean. The car is an evolution of Saab's Aero X and 9X concepts, though this time it's powered by a 1.4-litre BioPower engine mated with hybrid power assistance.
Further enhancing its environmental credentials are active aerodynamics, which help reduce drag to improve efficiency and CO2 emissions. Inside it's as neat as the exterior, the cockpit-like cabin looking sensational. It's not the first time we've seen the 9-X on a motor show stand, and the more we see it the more we want Saab to actually build it. If it's got green credentials to back up its obvious style Saab could be onto a real sales winner.
