No prizes for guessing the paint scheme used for the limited edition Nissan 370Z Yellow. However, buyers will be the winners in terms of specification, as the new version is cheaper than the 'GT Ultimate' model, yet seems to pack as much equipment in.
Contrasting with the bright hue, Nissan has adorned both sides of the sports coupé with distinctive '370Z' decals in black. Nissan claims that this is a nod to the firm's race cars competing in the European GT4 series, but we think it looks more like something Porsche would do...
Further enhancing the appearance is a set of 19-inch forged alloys by RAYS. Thankfully, Nissan declined from using yellow in the new car's cockpit, instead trimming it in tasteful black leather and suede.
The list of standard equipment is impressive, with satnav, heated seats and cruise control part of the deal, as are illuminated entry plates, special floor mats and a thumping BOSE stereo.
No mechanical changes are made, so the Yellow is still powered by a sonorous 3.7-litre V6 producing 326bhp and 270lb.ft of torque. Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph and the 370Z hits 62mph in 5.3 seconds from a standstill.
Going on sale in September, the Yellow will cost £31,650 for a six-speed manual model or £33,050 for the seven-speed automatic.
