The new three-door SEAT Ibiza will be a much sportier car than the recently introduced five-door model.
Called the SportCoupé, the three-door Ibiza has a lower roofline than the five-door version. The front end has lower headlight and a repositioned grille to give a more aggressive look too.
SEAT has also confirmed that faster versions of the new Ibiza from its FR and Cupra ranges will be based on the SportCoupé.
A new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission will be available with the 103bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, with Formula One style paddle gear shifters.
Prices and specifications have yet to be confirmed, but are likely to be close to those of the five-door model that goes on sale in the UK in July.
