The Vauxhall Insignia will make its debut at the British Motor Show in July, but Vauxhall has released pictures of the car's interior ahead of its launch.
Vauxhall says it has lavished "immense attention to detail" on the inside of its new family car contender.
A 'wing' design feature flows from the instrument panel into the doors to give the impression the dash is sculpted around the driver.
Amber-coloured interior lighting is claimed to give the interior a warm feel, while the instrument cluster changes from white to red illumination when the driver presses the Sport button.
Vauxhall says the Insignia's interior will set new standards for space and practicality in the family car sector.
Jochen Werner is one of the Insignia's main interior designers and said: "Every detail has been pored over and we even tipped the stereo centre at a 30-degree angle to allow the centre console to flow and give the car's cabin a greater feeling of spaciousness."
Vauxhall has also confirmed that the Insignia's cabin sets the style for all of its new model interiors.
