Chrysler 300C SRT-8
One of the reasons for the runaway success of the original muscle cars was their relative affordability; especially when you take into consideration the performance on tap. This is a formula Chrysler looks to have followed closely with its new 300C SRT-8 saloon.
For less than £40,000 on-the-road in the UK, this version of Chrysler's saloon comes with a 425bhp 6.1-litre V8 HEMI, the HEMI name finding its roots in the muscle car's heyday. Performance is rapid of course, with 0-60mph dispensed with in five seconds, allowing this large four-door saloon to compete at the drag strip, despite its huge family-swallowing interior and boot.
