Jaguar XF
Anybody that criticised
Jaguar's styling for being too traditional has finally been silenced by the release of the first images of the company's new executive saloon, to be called the XF. Jaguar hopes to steal customers from
BMW, Mercedes,
Lexus and
Audi with its all-new replacement for the S-Type saloon.
The XF is a crucial car for the British company too; with parent
Ford currently looking for a suitable interested buyer of the brand, the company needs to attract more customers. First impressions are very favourable. The XF is remarkably close in shape to the C-XF concept car and is modern and striking, yet still obviously a Jaguar.
There are loads of neat design touches on the outside to hold your interest, including a strip of aluminium joining the rear lights and the now characteristic gills in the front wings. However, the XF's interior is perhaps even more interesting, managing to mix traditional materials such as wood, leather and aluminium with the latest gadgets and technology in a contemporary manner. So far, so good.
