Ford's Fiesta has gotten better with every new iteration and the current car is absolutely fantastic. It's got all the verve on the road of its predecessors but with the sophistication, equipment and quality of a car in classes above. It's Ford's best car by some margin. That's great news for buyers, as it's at the entry-point in Ford's range - which means you can have it for not much money.
Just under £11,000 will get you into a Fiesta three-door, or a touch more for a five-door. We'd recommend you stretch a bit to the Edge specification to ensure you've an air conditioned interior. Zetec spec is the most desirable, with racier looks and all the equipment you could ask for. Frankly though we'd be happy with any, as all drive beautifully, with pin-sharp handling and brilliant feedback. All are spacious and comfortable too, though if you're buying one demand that the dealer fits the £300 optional ESP for free to seal the deal.
