BMW Z4 M Coupé
Unless your two-seater convertible has a particularly sporty badge on its bonnet (think Lotus, Caterham or
Ferrari), it is in danger of being labelled a car for people that cut hair; a profession that does have its fair share of men, granted, but perhaps not the stereotype we are brandishing here...
However, the addition of a roof can transform a car's image, and in the case of the M Coupé, has injected the Z4 with so much testosterone you half expect it to head-butt you as it growls past.
This is no cosseting coupé for limp-wristed wimps though; the M Coupé is a genuine sportscar and its hard ride and weighty controls lets you know that from the start. Under the long (almost phallic) bonnet is a man's engine, straight out of the sublime M3. Its 343bhp and 365Nm of torque propels the lithe two-seater forward like a shove in the back from Santa's reindeer on speed. A bit of a Yorkie car then; not for girls...
