The Aero 8 is by far Morgan's most modern car, with a completely new design featuring an advanced chassis and running gear, including a modern
BMW-sourced V8 engine, all put together with Morgan's traditional approach and character. Saying that, it's obvious that the Aero 8's styling is still heavily influenced by the popular Plus 8 and Plus 4 models that used to be the mainstay of the Morgan range.
The Aero 8 is certainly a distinctive car, which means it divides opinion, though there's no argument that it turns heads. There's also no arguing with 160mph and a 0-62mph time of only 4.5 seconds. If the Lotus Europa S represents modern day Britain, the Morgan harks back to a bygone era. Morgan remains one of the few independent British car makers and long may it continue.
