A tie-up with Fiat has lead to the creation of the Suzuki SX-4, a kind of small crossover SUV/mini-MPV. Suzuki also showed a WRC concept version of the SX4 in Geneva and announced that it will tackle the World Rally Championship in 2007. Though not well publicised, Suzuki has been incredibly successful in the Junior World Rally Championship, run on the same stages as the WRC, so it could do well straightaway. With a lack of works teams in the championship this year, it's good news that a newcomer is entering the fray. The concept SX-4 looks good too.
