Kia concept previews new mini-MPV

Kia has thrown down the gauntlet to other car makers ahead of the Geneva Show in March by stating that its new mini MPV would bring "style and cool to what is currently a bland segment of the new car market."

A single teaser photograph accompanied today's (February 6th) official press release from Kia, depicting the flanks, rear light and alloys of a concept version of Kia's new model.

Though Kia refers to this car as a mini-MPV, first impressions from the photograph is that it must be of a similar size to the Kia cee'd hatchback, which means it could compete against the likes of the Ford C-Max and VW Touran.

Kia is quick becoming recognised for its modern design as much as for its value for money and the MPV concept looks to be a clean design, with distinctive rear light graphics and a classy aluminium-surround outlining the side glass.

The show car will make its debut on March 3rd when Kia makes its presentation to the media in Switzerland.
