Our car of the show came from unexpected quarters: Saab unveiled the Aero X Concept amid gasps from the press (I'm sure I saw someone faint). The concept employs a complicated canopy entrance system not too dissimilar from Maserati's Birdcage concept car. The bodywork is incredibly low and muscular too, but the concept is unmistakably a Saab. Under the long bonnet is a 400bhp V6 that runs on 100% bioethanol. Though not going into production in this guise, this show car lets us know that Saab's designers mean business!
