One of the biggest surprises of the Geneva Show turned out to be the show star. Saab is not a name we often associate with supercars, but the Aero X concept stood out from the traditional and new supercars in Geneva. Inspired by its aviation heritage, the muscular body features a huge canopy encompassing the front windscreen, roof and doors that tilts and rotates forward to allow access to the cabin.

Under the suggestively long bonnet lies a twin-turbo V6 engine producing 400bhp, which may not sound very friendly to the environment, but it runs on 100% bioethanol fuel, a sustainable energy source that cuts CO2 emissions.

However unlikely production of the Aero X is, if it was built, it would boast four-wheel drive and hit 62mph from rest in 4.9 seconds. Forget all that for a minute though and just look at it!
