Five of the best Fast and Furious cars you can buy

Ever wanted to own a muscle car? With the release of the fourth Fast and Furious film (10 April 2009), we take a look at some serious speed demons which could star on your drive. The four movies have become more inclusive with each release, but despite the odd Ferrari appearance, an occasional BMW and, rather incongruously, a Volkswagen Jetta the series has largely been about Japanese performance cars.

So that's what we'll be looking at here. With a small exception, as there's always some token American muscle for the home audience we've thrown in a bit of Americana too.
