This weekend, Lord March opens the Goodwood grounds to the annual Festival of Speed. There are plenty of reasons you should be there. The annual Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from 11-13 July this year and as ever there will be a bewildering array of old and new race cars and bikes for the spectators to pore over. Not only will they be on display and within touching distance, but they'll be driven at speed by some of the most famous drivers in the business. Yet that's only one of many reasons to be present at the celebration of all things speed-related this year. Here are our top five excuses for visiting.
