The theme of this year's Festival is "Hawthorn to Hamilton - Britain's Love Affair with World Motor Sport," so it's hardly surprising that the golden boy of British motorsport will be at Goodwood to keep the crowds happy. Timing of F1 cars up the 1.16-mile hillclimb has been banned due to safety concerns, so expect Hamilton to instead focus on burnouts and standing starts at various sections in front of the grandstands. Fresh from his dominating victory at Silverstone, Lewis is sure to be mobbed for autographs too.
Hamilton won't be the only F1 driver on hand, though it's unlikely that Jenson Button or Sebastien Bourdais will receive quite as much attention. They are scheduled to run up the hill in their F1 cars as well, and six of the current Formula One teams will be represented in total. Just as exciting will the opportunity to watch greats such as Sir Stirling Moss, Sir John Surtees and Damon Hill at the wheel during the weekend.
