Daniel Bailey is just 22-years old, but his innovative new car design attracted a lot of interest this week. It's not just the Lamborghini-inspired styling that's attention grabbing either, as the BRB Evolution can automatically halve its size to fit into a smaller parking space.
Bailey expects the sporty two-seater's occupants to firstly identify a suitable space, then get out of the car and press a button to initiate the parking. Automatically, the car 'folds' in a Transformers-like motion to half its length. The car then slides into its small space and when needed again slides back out of the space before unfolding.
When 'unfolded' the BRB Evolution takes the form of a sleek sportscar, influenced by the Lamborghini Reventon and the latest Peugeot 908 Le Mans racer. At this stage, the car is nothing more than a design rendering on a computer screen, and though legislation currently prevents brake-by-wire technology, we reckon this concept is a viable production car.
