One lucky driver is going to win an Aston Martin V8 Vantage for a month as part of a competition the sports car maker is launching.
The Aston Martin Hot Lap League pits all-comers against each other and come October the 10 fastest will be invited back to fight it out for the top prize.
Drivers can pay for a timed lap at PalmerSport's Bedford Autodrome or you can hope to win one of two drives per month offered by The Sunday Times.
Each driver has one lap in an Aston Martin Vantage N24 race car to put their name on the leader board and the fastest wins the competition.
The winner will receive a V8 Vantage for a month and full VIP trip to the 2009 Le Mans 24 Hours race as a guest of Aston.
Jonathan Palmer, chief executive of PalmerSport and an ex-F1 driver, said: "I've already driven the Vantage N24 around the track and it's hugely impressive.
"It looks fantastic and will give drivers a first-hand experience of what a fully race-prepared GT racer is like to drive."
