BMW X5

BMW's X5 is a popular tool for shuttling footballers and their wives. While it's discreet enough not to warrant too much attention, the blue and white propeller badge carries sufficient notoriety to announce the presence of such star players as Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.

The top choice for these guys is the X5 4.8i, whose stonking V8 puts out 350bhp. That's enough to hurtle Cristiano Ronaldo to practice (or 62mph) in 6.4 seconds. But despite all that performance, the X5 still has enough room aboard to fit a few friends or a couple of baby seats in the rear and still have enough room to stow all their gear.

For a night out on the town the new X5 can also be outfitted with an additional two seats at the rear, perfect should Sol Campbell wish to bring a few friends back home or to a late night after-party.
