Hummer H3 Open Top Concept

Buyers of the regular Hummer H3 get the option of a large electric sunroof, but roof manufacturer ASC (American Specialty Cars) has come up with an even larger opening for the H3 and Hummer featured a concept utilising this roof in Detroit.

The roof itself is called 'Infinivu', which is a play on the words 'infinity' and 'view', designed to portray the massive aperture left behind when the sliding fabric roof is opened fully to the front of the car.

Hummer says that it would be the perfect car to go on safari in, though I don't fancy the roof's chance against the sharp claws of a lion! And though the concept is fitted with massive Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 325/50 R20 off-road tyres, this car is more about how it looks, which would explain the 20 x 9-inch Rozzi EGO chrome wheels...
