Citroen has announced it will expand its MPV range with a new C3 Picasso model.
As its name suggests the C3 Picasso will sit under the popular C4 Picasso in Citroen's extensive MPV range.
With its position of Europe's number 1 MPV manufacturer Citroen has ensured its newcomer brings excellent versatility.
Despite its small footprint the C3 Picasso promises flexible interior space, the rear seats sliding fore and aft to allow owners to choose between maximum legroom and maximum carrying capacity.
When even more load space is required the C3 Picasso has an easy fold rear seat, the front passenger seat also able to be folded flat for longer loads.
With its huge glazed area the C3 Picasso should offer occupants a very light and airy driving environment too.
Sadly the C3 Picasso won't be shown at the British Motor Show, Citroen choosing its home Paris Show in September to reveal it officially, instead.
The C3 Picasso will be powered by a range of petrol and diesel engines with outputs between 90- and 120bhp.
Sales for the new C3 Picasso will start mid 2009 in the UK.
