Maybach's Landaulet open-topped concept is to officially reach production after the company opened the order books in Paris.
Based on the Maybach 62 S the Landaulet features an open rear section for the two rear passengers to enjoy the sun.
The front driver area of the car remains closed, reinforcing that the Landaulet is a car that you are driven in rather than drive yourself.
Further underlining the Landaulet is a car you'll need a chauffeur for is the different coloured leather in the passenger and driver compartment areas, the showcar featuring a black leather driver area and a rear compartment luxuriously appointed in white hides.
Hand-built to order the Landaulet will cost upwards of £800,000, ensuring it will remain a very rare sight indeed.
