Volvo has come up with an unusual way to mark its 80th birthday, unveiling a hot rod based on its first car.
The original OV4 model from Volvo was nicknamed the 'Jakob', so this is the name given to its celebratory hot rod.
The Hot Rod Jakob takes its style from the original but it's a mixture of Volvo parts from over the decades.
While the looks are from the 1920s, the steering is from a 1962 P1800 and the brakes from the 140 model of the same decade.
The gearbox is from a 1990's 940, while the engine is a brand new V70 T5 motor converted to run on eco-friendly ethanol fuel.
There's also some bang up to date technology incorporated, with carbon fibre used for the lightweight chassis.
The Hot Rod Jakob was designed and built by Leif Tufvesson's Caresto company, which has made one-off models for Volvo before.
Leif says: "I love combining classic Volvo parts with my own ideas to challenge the usual perceptions of Volvo."
