Some people hang their scarves out of the windows or put stickers on the back to show their support of a football team but Citroen has just unveiled the ultimate football fan's car. Assuming you're an Arsenal fan that is, the club and Citroen joining forces with legendary cartoonist Gerald Scarfe to create the 'ultimate Arsenal fan's car'.
The striking red and white design covers almost every panel of the five-door C4 hatchback, the roof being covered in a football pitch design which also incorporates the team's signatures. The car will be shown at the Emirates Stadium in the coming weeks before it is raffled for the Teenage Cancer Trust charity. Tickets will cost £2 each, with all the proceeds going to the charity.
Scarfe worked closely with the Arsenal players Robin van Persie, Gael Clichy and Manuel Almunia as well as management and the Teenage Cancer Trust in designing the car. The unique design features plenty of Arsenal badges, footballs and even a cartoon of Manager Arsene Wenger firing a cannon on the boot.
Artist, Gerald Scarfe said: "I was delighted when Teenage Cancer Trust asked me to be involved with this project. I hope that fans will be queuing up to buy tickets to win this unique car, helping the Club to raise as much money as possible for Teenage Cancer Trust. The work that the charity is doing for young people with cancer is invaluable and so important in giving them the chance to fight this disease."
