Audi A3 Cabriolet

This summer will be the first for Audi's cute A3 Cabriolet, which, given the length of time the Audi A3 has been in production for, is a little surprising. We've already driven it, and it's a decent steer for sure, but it's likely that the distinctive looks and four-ringed badge will attract as many buyers as its keen dynamics.

For the moment, Audi is making do with four-cylinder engines, though the selection is a good one, including the latest turbodiesel offerings and even the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit that can be found under the bonnet of the VW Golf GTI. The Audi is marginally cheaper than the BMW 1 Series Convertible, though it's difficult to align the ranges thanks to the presence of more sporting six-cylinder engines in the BMW. There's no doubt, though, that the Audi will be one of the must-have cars this summer.
