With a name like the Black Edition, this limited run of special Hummer H3s was only ever going to be painted one colour: black. So it is, but it's not just the favoured colour of Goths that Hummer has splashed all over this H3, as it also comes with almost every conceivable extra as standard, as we found out when the car was unveiled at the Bologna Show.
Only 50 H3 Black Editions will make it to Europe and Hummer says precious few are likely to end up in the UK. But if you do get your mitts on one, you won't be disappointed with the black leather interior, top spec CD stereo and climate control.
On the outside, you'll stand out even further than if you drive a regular Hummer H3 thanks to the black paint and contrasting dark grey plastic of the bumpers and side rubbing strips. There are also extra foglights and, of course, blacked out windows.
The H3 Black Edition uses the same 3.7-litre five-cylinder engine as the rest of the range and comes with an automatic gearbox as standard. No word on prices yet, but expect a hike over the £32,995 of a standard H3 Luxury Auto.
