Skoda joined the Scouts when it attempted to beat the world record for cramming the most people into a single vehicle. Naturally, the Czech firm chose to use Scouts in its Scout and managed to fit more than 20 youngsters into the car.
Sadly, it wasn't enough to beat the 32 students who crammed in to a Skoda Octavia in Brno in the Czech Republic in 1997, but the Scouts had a great time. The stunt marked the end of the Scouts' Centenary celebrations and more than 20 of them still managed to fit inside the Skoda.
Julie Dixon, district commissioner for Scouts in West Sussex, said: "It was a great day and we hope more young people will be inspired to join the Scouts."
