Proton gains Persona

Proton has enlisted the help of Lotus to add the Persona saloon to its GEN-2 range.

The four-door saloon has a 1.6-litre engine that Lotus has developed to deliver 110bhp.

All GEN-2 Personas come with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and a four-speed auto is an option.

The GEN-2 Persona costs from £10,795 and comes with a generous amount of standard equipment.

Climate control and CD stereo with MP3 connector are both standard on all versions of the Persona.
