Brabus McLaren Roadster/Ultimate 112

Brabus has borrowed an idea from the world of upscale boating by offering customers a 'tender' vehicle to join its SLR Roadster. Brabus' idea is that owners of its tweaked SLR Roadster might like something a bit more suitable for the city in place of its 650bhp roadster. Enter the Brabus Ultimate 112, a Smart fortwo cabrio that's been given the Brabus treatment. Being a tender for the SLR the Ultimate 112 comes with the same white paintwork and lipstick red leather and black Alcantara interior of the SLR Roadster.

Obviously not even Brabus has the ability to enable the fortwo cabrio to produce the 650bhp of the SLR, so instead the compact two-seater has its power boosted to 112bhp - hence the name. That's enough to get the Ultimate 112 to 62mph in 9.5 seconds. That's some way off the 3.6 seconds of the SLR, but plenty enough for a town tender. Perhaps the ultimate two-for-one deal, Brabus offers this unusual package for en eye-watering 699,999 Euros.
