Bikers have as much reason to go to the Bologna Show as car drivers, as a good number of bikes are on display. Most prominently is the Ducati of Casey Stoner, the 2007 MotoGP winner's bike taking pride of place alongside a one-off Alfa Spider wearing Stoner's number and Australian flag decals on the bonnet to celebrate his championship win. The right-hand drive Spider is unique, though Alfa and Ducati fans are catered for with the new 147 Ducati Corse edition also on show in Bologna. The two Italian marques have come together to produce this limited edition 147, it wearing Ducati badging, red brake callipers, sill stripes and sports seats with contrasting stitching. Available in red, black, grey or white, it's the perfect addition to any Ducati rider's garage.
It wasn't just Alfa Romeo who had a MotoGP bike on its stand, as Alfa's parent company Fiat also had Valentino Rossi's Yamaha among a sea of Fiat 500s. Fiat sponsors the legendary rider, his MotoGP bike featuring alongside a uniquely liveried Fiat 500 wearing his colours and 'The Doctor' nickname he carries on his leathers. No word on whether the Rossi decals are being offered among the 500's possible 500,000 combination trim packages, but we're sure there are a few fans out there who'd be very keen indeed.
