Ferrari is teasing fans with a slow reveal of its new GT ahead of the car's proper launch at the Paris Auto Show in October.
Unveiling the car bit by bit on the dedicated website www.ferrarigtcountdown.com, visitors to the site will be treated to more and more of the car as its launch date approaches.
To begin with, fans can log on to hear the GT's engine starting and revving through the gears.
Photographs of the new Ferrari will also appear in the next few days.
The web release of the GT comes ahead of the car going on sale in 2009, positioned above the F430 in the range.
It will be powered by a V8 engine and have a sequential manual gearbox with paddle-shifters like a Formula One car's.
