Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster

The Lamborghini LP640 isnt for shy retiring types at the best of times, but choose the Roadster and drop another £21,000 on top of the £217,000 coupé and youll have one of the most head-turning cars a huge pile of money can buy. Its not all about show though, as the LP640 can really go too, its 6.5-litre V12 allowing it to get to 62mph in just 3.4 seconds and onto a 200mph maximum speed.

With all that grunt youll be thankful for the LP640s four-wheel drive system. It should mean you can use the cars prodigious performance even when the roads are streaming wet. The only problem perhaps is the Roasters roof; Lamborghini really couldnt have conceived a more fiddly, infuriating and time-consuming cover if it had tried. Perhaps thats why Bruce Wayne has decided to chop in his Murcielago Roadster from the film Batman Begins for a LP640 Coupé in The Dark Knight...
