Ford Fiesta, No need to be blue, oval

In the same way a jockey will always be asked 'what kind of horse should I buy?' a motoring hack is frequently enquired as to which would be the best horseless carriage to spend money on. And when it comes to small hatchbacks, for us the answer is always the same: Ford's Fiesta.

Well, we needn't bother, because it seems you all know that already. The Fiesta has topped the sales chart every single month this year and if you've driven one you'll know why. Few cars offer as much style, space, comfort, quality and driving enjoyment in a reasonably priced package as the current Fiesta does. It's a car you can buy with your heart and your head, which is probably why Ford has shifted around a third more of them than its closest rival - the Vauxhall Corsa.
