This one, the EV concept version, has one or two impressive tricks up its tailpipe. For a kick off, the hybrid electric powertrain will do 40-miles on electricity only before the combustion engine starts, and it has 268bhp and rear-wheel drive. Mind, they're not particularly tricks. A 'passenger tablet' touch screen unit allows the occupants to surf the Net, watch films and listen to music, and the car can also be linked to a mobile smartphone. Paranoid parents can then use their handsets to watch their wayward children driving to-and-from wild, all-night parties and the such. And the air conditioning, central locking and any other in-car function can also be controlled remotely. Very clever.
