Porsche Cayman S

There was a time when driving a Porsche meant you had to endure endless slurs on your character, with van drivers' shouts intimating that you may get a lot of 'action', but mostly with yourself... That stigma has eased a little, but a certain amount of it remains.

In fairness, this usually only refers to the evergreen Porsche 911, which is actually one of the most rewarding cars on the planet to drive. However, Porsche now offers a non-911, which is just as good as its bigger brother, though perhaps a little less obvious. The Cayman S has been referred to by some as the Porsche for buyers that can't afford a 911, but we would argue against that point. The Cayman, though based on the Boxster, is a sports car in its own right and thanks to its smaller, tauter body appears much more youthful than the average 911. I guess it depends whether you want to portray yourself as mature or young at heart.
