There has been no rest for Michael Schumacher since his retirement from Formula One and he is now leading the development of a new range of motorcycle crash helmets.
Schumacher has raced in several motorcycle events since leaving Formula One and his experience is helping German firm Schuberth design the new helmets.
The lightweight, aerodynamic crash helmets will incorporate many high tech safety features, though the company is staying tight-lipped until its new range is launched later this year.
Schumacher said: "Throughout my time in Formula One, attention to detail was really important to me and I don't intend to leave anything to chance in the future, so this helmet is an expression of that."
Since leaving Formula One, Schumacher has taken parting a number of motorcycle races around Europe.
In only his second race, Schumacher took a win and says he intends to take part in more events throughout 2008.
